Recognising the need for improvements in the redaction process, Simpson Associates have developed, in conjunction with Microsoft, “RedactXpert”– a tool that assists in the process of redacting documents using AI – delivering improved efficiency in the process and considerable time-saving benefits.

Redaction tools are already widely used within UK Police. However, RedactXpert takes the process to a new level. The only automated redaction tool built on the Microsoft Azure platform and utilising Microsoft’s Cognitive Services, RedactXpert identifies and redacts Personally Identifiable Information (PII) with the power of AI.

Initially focusing on UK Policing, RedactXpert can be utilised across all sectors and organisations who have the time consuming challenge of redacting vasts amounts of Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
